Reno Sweeney is headed to England on the S.S. American along with her stowaway friend Billy Crocker. Billy is following his lover Hope Harcourt, but the problem is, she is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Also along for the ride is Public Enemy #13 Moonface Martin and his sidekick Erma.
Reno and Moonface join forces to help Billy in his quest for Hope's heart. With elaborate disguises, mistaken identities, ploys and confessions, how will everything work out? Join us to see what happens!
The Piddle Valley Players is a friendly group of amateur actors and actresses who put on a musical production once a year. With varying talents, everyone is welcome to join this dramatic society. We rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7pm and some Sunday afternoons, from September to February at Buckland Newton Village Hall. Some of our most recent productions include “Guys and Dolls”, "South Pacific" and “Oklahoma”.
